Tushar of the debut film was also honored with the Best Male Debut Actor Award. Despite this he did not get that recognition. Which he deserved. He did such a good job in this film that his acting started getting praised even in China. This film started being compared to Sholay. Because after its release in China, the tickets of this film were sold more than Sholay. Within no time, Tusshar Kapoor started proving to be a megaflop hero. Now he is trying his luck on OTT.

After his hit debut, Tusshar Kapoor worked in the films ‘Kya Dil Ne Kaha’, ‘Yeh Dil’, ‘Jeena Sirf Mere Liye’ and ‘Kuch To Hai’, but all these films of his proved to be flops one after the other. Then his films like Khaki, Gayab were average. Then his human, Short – The Challenge flopped. He continued to work hard to try his luck, but luck did not favor him.
