Mumbai. In the entertainment industry, getting films, losing them and getting replaced is a common thing. But sometimes, this is not a common thing. An actress or an actor has a lot of expectations from a film. They prepare for it. They work hard. But for some reason, the film slips out of their hands. In such a situation, the actress or the actor feels very sad and if the film becomes a blockbuster, then the condition of the actors becomes even worse. One such actress started crying when she lost a blockbuster film, that too after preparations.
The name of this film is ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. This film was a biopic of former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Sushant Singh Rajput played the memorable role of Dhoni in the film. The film achieved tremendous success at the box office and changed the direction of the careers of everyone involved in it. This also included Disha Patani, who played the role of Sushant Singh Rajput’s on-screen girlfriend.
But did you know that this role was first offered to Rakul Preet Singh and she had prepared well for it? In an interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, Rakul told about the reason for missing the film and her sadness. She said, “I had done the costume preparation and script reading, but then their dates got extended by a month and I was shooting films with Ram Charan and Jr NTR.”

Due to change in date, Rakul Preet Singh lost the role and Disha Patni got it
Rakul Preet Singh said, “Bruce Lee: The Fighter was going to release in a month and two songs were yet to be shot. So, I couldn’t make any changes in the dates and I cried that I missed such a good film.” Rakul couldn’t adjust with the dates and the role went to Disha Patani. The film also starred Kiara Advani. It was directed by Neeraj Pandey.
