Saif Ali Khan was attacked around 2 am on January 16.
New Delhi: Police has made a big revelation in the Saif Ali Khan attack case. Police said that after attacking the actor, the suspect had bought headphones from a mobile shop in Dadar. The police had reached this shop on Friday and also examined the CCTV footage. The suspect is in police custody two days after the attack on the actor. He was arrested from Chhattisgarh.
Now actress Kareena Kapoor has recorded her statement in the police in this matter. She told in her statement that she was very nervous at the time of the attack. Due to the defense of Saif Ali Khan, the attacker could not reach Jahangir (Jeh). The actress told that the accused had not stolen anything, but during this period his behavior was very aggressive.
Saif Ali Khan’s condition is fine now. Seeing the improvement in his condition, he has been shifted to the normal ward. It is being told that he can be discharged on January 21. In the case of attack on an actor, the police had detained a person and interrogated him. 20 teams have been formed to investigate this matter. Police say that before attacking, the accused had done recce of the actor’s house.
Police tracking with the help of CCTV footage
The attacker was aware of the outlet of the actor’s house. In this case, the police have also recovered CCTV footage, in which the attacker is seen running away with a wooden stick and hexa blade. The face of the accused can be seen in the CCTV footage. Police have interrogated many suspects on the basis of the footage. The auto driver told IANS that around 3 o’clock on the night of the incident, when he was passing in front of the actor’s house, a woman came in front of him and asked him to take a U-turn. The auto rickshaw driver said, ‘The actor’s white kurta was soaked in blood. I didn’t know that he was Saif Ali Khan until I went to the hospital. After reaching the hospital, when he said, call the staff, I came to know that I am Saif Ali Khan. It took me 5-6 minutes to take him to the hospital.
