Many women will have to take the lead: Ekta
Ekta Kapoor, producer of ‘The Buckingham Murders’, said, ‘Women’s safety is not just an industry issue. It concerns every woman in the workplace and we take this issue seriously.
And as I said, ‘Now a lot of women have to lead so that a lot of other women can join in.’
On this occasion, citing the example of her film, she said that two female producers together made a film in which a female officer solves a criminal case. This is in a way a step towards safety and power.

‘Women will have to take the initiative for change’
Ekta further said, ‘We have to change the agency from men to women and make it equal. We need women in top positions or running companies. And for this, women will have to take the initiative.
As I said, a report will come and people will read more about it, but maintaining a safe environment for women in any workplace has to start from the women themselves.
