The ’12th Fail’ actor told that his childhood was spent in poverty and he made his mark through difficulties. Vikrant Massey told that his family had also seen such a day when his entire family had to live in a godown.
Vikrant says that the story of the beginning of his life was quite filmy. He says that his parents were earlier neighbors of the Kapoor family, but due to family feud, they were thrown out of their own house, after which they were forced to live in a godown. At this time his brother was very young.

According to Vikrant, the conditions at his home were so bad that his mother had to do tiffin work to run the house. She used to make boxes for office going people. Vikrant says that his mother used to get up at 3 in the morning and start working and would continue to work till 12-1 in the night.
