Recently, during a discussion on cinema, Sunny Deol shared his views on the changing face of the Hindi film industry. The actor said that even though the entry of corporates in Hindi cinema has been a successful partnership, it has also taken away the creativity from cinema. He alleged that sometimes people in high positions misuse their power and as a result cinema loses its creativity,

Putting forward his point, the actor said, ‘Corporates are not creative people, ‘they do not know anything about cinema’. Then what happens is that things change as per their wish, then the taste of the audience changes and cinema also changes. He said that even though collaborations with corporates have been successful, it is not like the ‘deep-rooted cinema’ of earlier times.
