On March 14, Avinash Das, director of ‘Anarkali of Ara’, is bringing a film named ‘in these streets’. It is a social message film with a comedy drama. In this, new actress Avantika Dasani will be seen with actor Vivaan Shah.

The film shows the streets there, along with Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb of Lucknow. In this, the audience will get the love of the digital age in the streets of Lucknow. The film’s director Avinash Das, actress Avantika and actor Vivaan have spoken to Dainik Bhaskar. Read their interview …

Question- Where did Avinash inspire to make this film?

Answer/ Avinash- We have a friend Yash Malaviya, who is also a very big poet of Hindi. His songs are very famous. His younger brother was Vasu Malaviya. He was a very good Hindi storyteller. Vasu Malaviya came to Mumbai to be a part of the film world. But they passed into the accident. After about twenty years, his son Punarvasu wrote a very good story by removing three of his characters, which is a mirror of today.

Punarvasu is 30–31 years old and has written a great screenplay. He brought him to me and said that a film has to be made on this story. I felt that the street, the characters whose stories they want to say, the street and that character is my life. Then I went to Lucknow and saw the old streets of Raja Bazar. Then I felt that the journey of this story could be fulfilled here. In this way the story reached Lucknow and landed on the ground.

Question- This city is an emotion for Vivaan and Avantika Lucknow. How did both of you assimilate Lucknow?

Answer/Vivaan- I think the history of Lucknow and the culture is very important for our whole country. At one time, Lucknow used to be the capital of India. Lucknow is a very important place for all of us. Your reason may be different for everyone. Such as cultural region, catering. Especially like you said that the style of Lucknow, Tehzeeb, is culture. I think it is probably the most special quality. This is a very beautiful place. I really love Lucknow. I can’t tell you how much I love this place.

Question- Avantika shows in the trailer that you have fully adopted Lucknow.

Avantika- Thank you … Its credit goes to three people. Especially my director and writer Punarvasu. We have rehearsed a lot before the shooting and before the scenes. I have done a lot of work on diction with my dialect coach Nepal Sir. Lucknowi tone is very unique. We used to sit with the children of the street, Khala-Faufi and ask them how would you speak if you want to say this? Like you have given approval to my character, if you speak such audiences, it will be a very good thing for me.

Avantika is the daughter of actress Bhagyashree and is making her Bollywood debut with this film.

Question- Lucknow has been a stronghold of secularism. How are you looking at love and harmony in this city in today’s political atmosphere?

Answer/ Avinash- See, Alok Dhanwa is a very good poet of Hindi. He has a poem that where is that city with green sky, Baghdad, find it in Arabia? And in the same poem, he further writes that there is little left in Bhopal. There is very little Patna in Patna and very little in Lucknow Lucknow. The decrease of that old city in the old city is the gift of today’s politics.

Our film is the story of today’s Lucknow, which is living with each other with a lot of work. But the bad thunderstorm of social media tools and politics, how they are engaged in breaking people to break it. But people learn from their own experiences and beat them all. From among themselves, they drive away all those evil spirits. Returns to their oldness again.

Question- Both of you are Zen Z. The influence of social media in the daily routine and especially WhatsApp University. How do you see it?

Answer/Vivaan- According to me, social media is such a thing from which brightness can also be spread. Positivity can also be spread. I use social media in my life positively. This is the effort.

I have always hoped that we spread happiness and unity among people with our work, humanity. The strengths that are trying to share us, we should somehow be able to beat it with love.

Avantika- You talked about WhatsApp University and Fake News. I think Journalism is an important tool to fight or prevent it. Earlier, before giving any information in the media, there was a fact check. But in today’s time it has become more important to publish. It is not necessary to give correct information. All media institutions should focus on this. People should also take any information from the media, not with WhatsApp or any one human being. This will be the right way to deal with fake news.

Question- Vivaan you and Avantika have shot in the streets of Lucknow. What did you feel? What was the process?

Answer/Vivaan- Whenever I think about the shoot of our film, I feel very beautiful and colorful. This entire shoot was very happy. There were so many amazing people and such a great team. We all became very good friends. By working with each other, everyone became very close after spending time. There he became like a family in Lucknow. Stayed in the winds of Lucknow and tried to make it his own.

This city is very close to my heart. However, I have grown up in Mumbai but UP resides in blood. So it was also a lot of fun to find that UP. While doing this film, I was trying to get out of my inner UP.

Question- Naseeruddin sir had told anything about UP or gave any advice?

Answer/Vivaan- Absolutely told. Especially his family members, who come from the West UP Meerut side. The language there is very different and interesting. Allahabad is a pure Hindi -speaking belt and is mostly spoken in West UP Meerut. So linguistic is very interesting is a union. Like our film Joe U Shape’s Galli is Hanuman Gali and Rahman Gali, it represents almost East UP and West UP.

My Baba’s family members are quite interesting people. I also remembered a lot of things from him and adopted it in my character. For example, one thing about Sardhana tells that they react a lot about everything. We tried to close the language closely with Avinash sir and Punarvasu. This is a wonderful language. It has a lot of juice.

Avantika- This experience has been very cute for me because of two important things. We have shot in live location. You think that a team comes from outside, which captures your street, your homes for a month. It may be a problem for many people. But the people of the street adopted us and kept us with so much love, there was never any problem. Mixing with us, fed food. As an actor, we helped us in the questions about Dialect. The Lucknowi hospitality we received was an important factor.

Another thing was to eat. Our experience of food was amazing. Every day there was a new thing. Such as water Batashe, Prakash’s Kulfi, Sharma ji’s tea or dhaba food. I like licking very much, so I also ate different types of chaat.

Question- What message would you like to give to your fans through this film?

Answer/ Avinash- See, I always mention an old song- ‘Human beings should be brotherhood, this message is ours.’ The story of our film is that only love can eradicate hate. On March 14, you will go to watch the film with this message. You will get a lot from this film.

Avantika- On March 14, you will get ‘love in these streets’.

Vivaan- ‘These streets will get love’, you will get fraternity, you will get an understanding of unity and a mohalla, which is probably a mirror of our country.
