New Delhi: Prime Video, India’s popular entertainment platform, has announced the exclusive world premiere of his next movie ‘The Mehta Boys’. The film will be screened at the 15th Chicago South Asian Film Festival (CSAFF) from 19 to 22 September 2024. The film will premiere on the opening night of the festival on September 20.
‘The Mehta Boys’ is produced by Irani Movietone LLP and Chalkboard Entertainment LLP. It is directed by Boman Irani. The screenplay of the film is co-written by Irani and Alexander Dinelaris Jr., who won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for the film “Birdman”. The film stars very talented actors like Boman Irani, Avinash Tiwari, Shreya Chaudhary and Pooja Saroop.

‘The Mehta Boys’ is a story of a father and son
The Mehta Boys is the story of a father and son who have their differences but are forced to spend 48 hours together. The film follows their difficult journey and takes an in-depth look at the dilemmas that often exist in a father-son relationship. The screening on September 20 will be followed by a discussion with Boman Irani, writers Alexander Dinelaris Jr., Avinash Tewari and Shreya Chaudhary, and producers Danesh Irani and Ankita Batra. The next day, September 21, Boman Irani and Alexander Dinelaris Jr. will hold a master class on the writing process of The Mehta Boys.
