New Delhi. Shahrukh Khan received the Best Actor Award for last year’s film ‘Jawaan’ at IIFA 2024 held in Abu Dhabi. While receiving the award, the actor remembered his most difficult phase during the shooting of Jawan. He told how at that time he was in his weakest moments and his wife Gauri was the only producer who was investing money in his acting. In his speech, King Khan also mentioned the arrest of his son Aryan Khan without taking his name.
He said, ‘I want to thank the other nominees. Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Vikrant Massey – they were very good in the film. Vicky Kaushal, Sunny paaji I think they all were very good. But I got the love of the audience because I worked after a long time.
King Khan further says, ‘Someone reminded me that it is important to invest money in films. So I want to thank Gauri. She is probably the only wife who spends so much on her husband. I was going through a very difficult time while making Jawan (here Shahrukh Khan was referring to the arrest of his son Aryan).
And the best actor award male IIFA2024 goes to Mr Shahrukh Khan for the film Jawan.
