New Delhi. Actress turned MP Kangana Ranaut is in the news these days for her film ‘Emergency’. The film is set to release in theatres on 6 September. But before the release, she is facing opposition regarding the film. The Sikh community is adamant on the demand to ban the film. Despite this opposition, Kangana is busy promoting the film. In a recent interview, the ‘Panga Queen’ not only called Bollywood a hopeless place. She even said that people from the community have tried to pull her down.

Kangana Ranaut is known for her outspokenness. Kangana, who often raises her voice against nepotism, called Bollywood a ‘hopeless place’ and said that only those people move ahead here who get things easily or become sycophants or followers.

Some special people have a problem with me
Talking to Mashable India, he said, ‘I am not one of those people who talk nonsense. Only a few people have a problem with me, otherwise you will see that I have won the election and the kind of love I get from the industry. Through that I have proved myself and my point, so now the problem is with me or with them?’

Bollywood is a ‘hopeless’ place
Kangana also targeted Bollywood for ruining the careers of talented people. She said, ‘To be honest, this is a hopeless place. Nothing is going to happen to them. Because, firstly they are jealous of talent and if they find someone talented, they go after him to destroy him, ruin his career, boycott him. They defame him a lot by doing dirty PR.’

All this happens openly in Bollywood
When asked if this happens quietly, he clearly said, this does not happen quietly but openly. This is how they run people’s careers. They support only their own people, who are mediocre and indulge in flattery and become their lackeys. They work on the basis of convenience, if this is the case then how can anyone do good in the world?

Film makers are busy making camps
Kangana then also said that the current generation of filmmakers is supporting mediocre people, and creating camps. This was not the case with the older generation of filmmakers like Yash Chopra, K Asif and others. She said, ‘It is their parents, the older generation of directors, who had an attitude of humility, whether it was Yash Chopra or K Asif, Bimal Roy, Guru Dutt, you see their honesty. They were different kind of people. Look at people today, they are all into creating camps. The worst thing is that they hate talent.
