According to a report in Pinkvilla, Firoz Nadiadwala has settled his financial obligations with Eros and has successfully regained the rights of his film portfolio, which includes the much-awaited film ‘Hera Pheri’.

Firoz is known for producing many hit films, including ‘Awara Pagal Deewana’, ‘Phir Heraferi’, ‘Welcome’ and ‘Aan’. Many of his films have gained popularity as a separate class, due to which the audience has demanded sequels. Firoz has recently fulfilled this demand of the audience by returning to the ‘Welcome’ franchise with Akshay Kumar, whose upcoming title is ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. The production of this film has started from the beginning of this year.

According to a source, ‘Feroze has cleared his dues and obtained a no dues certificate from the court, allowing him to take back the rights of ‘Hera Pheri’ and other films. He is now free to pursue these projects as per his wish and is eager to return to entertaining the audience.

The source said, ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is a passion project not only for Firoz but also for Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty. It was also said in the notice that Firoz would have to pay Rs 60 crore to Eros to get back the rights of the films.
