New Delhi. Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar are a unique pair of Bollywood, who made many actors superstars with the magic of their pen. This pair, which brought revolution in Indian cinema in the 70s, gave films like ‘Sholay’, ‘Deewar’, ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Don’, ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ and ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’. Rajesh Khanna was upset with this pair because he believed that Amitabh Bachchan shone in the films written by them and his career sank badly. This pair separated after 12 years in the year 1982.
