The release date of this film, which has been surrounded by controversies since the beginning, has been postponed twice. Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’, which was released in September last year, is now finally ready to hit the theaters on January 17, but even before the release of the film, the actress has given up on making a political film.
While talking to News18 Shosha, Kangana Ranaut said that she has become so disappointed with the difficulties faced in the way of the release of ‘Emergency’ that she has decided to never make a political film in future. Sharing her experience of this film, Kangana says, ‘I will never make a political film again. I am not very encouraged.
Lots of praise for Anupam Kher
She further explains that being the director and producer of the film, she could not even go to anyone with her complaints. She says, ‘It is very difficult to make political films. I now understand why many people don’t make such films, especially a film based on a real incident. Along with this, the Queen of Bollywood praised Anupam Kher for doing political films. He described ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ as the best film of Anupam Kher’s career. Kangana praised Anupam Kher’s performance in the role of Manmohan Singh in the film.
Kangana was helpless on the set of emergency
Talking further about the emergency, she says that despite the many difficulties faced during the shooting, she never lost her temper on the set. She says, ‘I never lost my temper on this set. If you are a producer, who will you be angry at? As a director, you can fight with the producer, but if you are playing both the roles, who will you fight with? I wanted to scream loudly that I wanted more money, that I was not happy, but who would I go and cry to? What would you say to whom? I was helpless and helpless.
vented out anger on family
According to Kangana Ranaut, she could not vent her anger on the set and her family had to bear the brunt of it. She used to vent out all her irritation on her family members. She did not talk to her family for many days. Kangana Ranaut and Anupam Kher say that there is a perception among the people that if there is an anti-Emergency Congress film then the government will immediately pass it, but things do not work like this in the film industry.
