New Delhi. Filmmaker and actor Soham Shah’s horror film ‘Tumbbad’ has once again been released in theatres. This movie is getting a lot of love from the audience. The film is also earning well at the box office. Recently Soham Shah told that his ‘Tumbbad’ is quite different from other horror films ‘Munjya’ and ‘Stree’ because he is not making grandmother’s stories in the films. Along with this, Soham Shah also talked about the sequel of ‘Tumbbad’.
india today During an interview with , Sohum Shah insisted that his ‘Tumbbad’ is very different from horror films like ‘Stree’ and ‘Munjya’ which are based on folklore. He said, ‘I don’t think it is a problem. Those films are different. None of them is like Tumbbad. There is a lot of difference in their stories. They are not making dadi-nani ki kahaniyan (stories told by our grandmothers). Our story is not based on modern times. Our film starts and ends in a period time. There is a demon in our film. They don’t face such forces.’
