TVS Motor has introduced the 2025 edition of its neo-retro motorcycle Ronin at its annual biking event MotoSoul 4.0. The updated bike now has a dual-channel anti-lock braking system for safety and has also made some cosmetic changes.

Customers can now buy the motorcycle in two new color options – Glacier Silver and Charcoal Amber, replacing the existing Delta Blue and Stargaze Black color options. The company will launch the updated bike in January 2025.

Customers can book the bike online or by visiting their nearest dealership. The TVS Ronin competes against other neo-retro motorcycles including the Kawasaki W175 and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.

Design: New Midnight Blue Color The limited edition of the neo-retro bike has been introduced in a new midnight blue color with a wide fluorescent green/yellow stripe and white pinstripe on the fuel tank and side panels. The rear half of the fuel tank and the front half of the side panel also get a metallic gray finish.

The bike also gets a blacked-out fly screen above the LED headlight to enhance visual appeal and deflect headwinds. Apart from this, the Ronin Special Edition comes with a long smoked visor, a USB charging port, a throttle body cover and a fully black engine case, fenders and exhaust.

TVS Ronin is now available in 8 color options. This includes Magma Red, Lightning Black, Delta Blue, Stargaze Black, Galactic Grey, Dawn Orange, Nimbus Gray and Midnight Blue colors.

Hardware: 17-inch 9-spoke alloy wheels For comfort riding, the bike has been provided with USD forks at the front and 7-step adjustable mono-shock absorber at the rear. For braking, the Ronin SS and DS variants come with single-channel ABS disc brakes. Whereas, the TD and TD-Special Edition variants get dual-channel ABS disc brakes as standard. It also has two ABS modes – Urban and Rain to adjust the ABS intervention. The bike runs on 17 inch 9 spoke alloy wheels.

Features: LCD instrument cluster and turn-by-turn navigation The Festive Edition is based on the top-spec variant, so the bike gets all the features like LED headlights, USB charger and a single-pod LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. This includes call/SMS alerts, voice assistance, phone battery level and signal strength, and turn-by-turn navigation.

The bike has an all-LED lighting setup as standard. Apart from this, the bike includes silent starter, side-stand engine cut-off feature and three-step adjustable brake/clutch lever. The Ronin also features TVS Glide-Through-Traffic which helps the bike navigate through traffic using only the clutch.

Performance: 225.9cc air and oil-cooled engine No mechanical changes have been made in the bike, for performance it has a 225.9cc air and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, which generates power of 20.1hp and torque of 19.93Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. The bike also has adjustable lever and two ABS modes – Urban and Rain.
