Tata Motors has launched the updated 2025 model of Tiago NRG in the Indian market. It has been introduced in the design with cosmetical changes and new features. Tiago NRG is based on its standard model and is just available in XZ and XZ+ trim. Its entry-level XT variant has been closed.
Tata Tiago NRG comes in both CNG and petrol versions and is the cheapest CNG hatchback car with automatic transmission in India and is equipped with twin cylinder technology. Its ex-showroom price starts at Rs 7.2 lakh, which goes up to 8.75 lakh rupees in the top variant.
Tata Motors claims that the car offers 28.06km/kg with automatic transmission in CNG mode and 26.49km/kg with manual transmission. At the same time, there will be a mileage of 19.43kmpl with automatic transmission in petrol mode and 20.1kmpl with manual transmission.
Cross-Hatchback is not directly rivals in the Indian market, but based on the price it competes with Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti WagonR Maruti Celerio and Citroen C3.
