One of them is going to tell the story of Ali Khan, who traveled from Chonaha village of Naxal-affected Dumariya block area of ​​Gaya district to Bollywood. Ali Khan has acted in more than 200 films in many languages ​​including Bhojpuri, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, English, Tamil, Telugu. Hailing from a small village in Gaya, Ali Khan has made a mark in Bollywood and his influence has remained intact for the last 44 years. However, the journey to reach here was not so easy for them.

Encouragement increased after seeing the shooting in the studio
For the first time in 1975, Ali Khan went to Mumbai to bring his relative who had returned from Haj. There he got a chance to go to RK Studio. Shooting of two films of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Ranjit ji was going on in the studio. After the shooting, he got a chance to meet both of them and took their autographs and then returned back to the village. From there he decided to become an actor. From an early age, he was fond of acting and reading books and magazines based on acting and actors. In the village, he used to play various roles in the dramas organized during Durga Puja and other festivals.

Ali Khan did his matriculation from Magra High School located in the village, Intermediate from Mirza Ghalib College, Gaya and then B.Sc. from Anugrah College and was studying LLB from here. His father wanted him to become a lawyer, but Ali Khan had no interest in becoming a lawyer, due to which he left his studies midway and went to Mumbai again in 1980. There his friend Ramesh Singh, resident of Magra, Gaya, showed his photograph in many studios. When things did not work out, he came back to the village. Then he started visiting Mumbai continuously. After coming to Bihar, he met Shatrughan ji’s maternal uncle in Gaya and wrote a letter. In those days, the shooting of Shatrughan ji’s film Kalka was going on in Dhanbad.

Ali Khan went to Dhanbad with the letter. There he met Shatrughan ji. The casting of the film Kalka was completed. Since he had a letter from Shatrughan ji’s maternal uncle, he got the job. Got a chance to work in one or two more films. After that he did not look back and since then he has played roles in more than 200 films continuously. He got a chance to act in many superhit films like Khuda Gawah, Gadar-1, Gadar-2, Indian, Maa Tujhe Salaam, Allah Rakha, Toofan. He has also worked in Tipu Sultan serial.

He has played the role of Yaksha in Mahabharata. Worked with actors like Jackie Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan, but his film career was not gaining momentum. A poet encouraged him and then he got a job in the film Khuda Gawah, in which he became famous with the character Habibullah. Amitabh Bachchan also praised the work of Habibullah character. He developed a good friendship with Amitabh Bachchan from Khuda Gawah, which continues till today.

He wants to see the young artists of Bihar move forward. He told that it is not so easy to establish oneself in the film industry. I also struggled a lot and am at this position today.
