Vi is set to launch 5G commercial services in 17 circles next year and aims to reach at least 90 percent of India.

Today about 1.03 billion people are covered with about 77 percent 4G coverage. The telecom operator has said that most of the funding will be used to expand 4G coverage and roll out 5G.
