New Delhi: Actress Bipasha Basu, famous for her memorable roles in ‘Raaz’ and ‘Aakrosh’, had once revealed that she had become a vegetarian for her boyfriend. Bipasha was seen saying in a throwback video, ‘I came back from school and I told my mother – I have fallen in love. I told my mother- I want two salwar kurtas.
The ‘Dhoom 2’ fame actress had further said, ‘Since I used to wear shorts earlier, I said – give me two salwar kurtas, because she is a Marwari and her family wants me to wear salwar kurtas and from today I am a vegetarian. And before that, I was a staunch non-vegetarian girl. Suddenly I said – From now on I will become a vegetarian and wear salwar kurta and will marry him only, so my poor mother had no option. But, they gave me a salwar kurta. So see, I am a very sweet girl. So when I fall in love, I fall completely in love. But it did not last long because after that I came to Bombay.
Had an affair with many actors
Bipasha Basu was in a relationship with actor Dino Morea from 1996 to 2002. In 2002, during the shooting of ‘Jism’, Bipasha got back into a relationship with her costar John Abraham. Later, the ‘No-Entry’ fame actress dated actor Harman Baweja, but they broke up in 2014.
Married to Karan Singh Grover
After some time, Bipasha Basu met ‘Alone’ co-star Karan Singh Grover on the set and they fell in love. The couple got married on 30 April 2016 and on 12 November 2022, their lovely daughter Devi Basu Singh Grover was born. The couple is enjoying the new face of their life very much.
