New Delhi. Sonu Sood is a popular star of Bollywood industry. He has won the hearts of fans more in the roles of villain than hero. Sonu Sood became famous by playing the role of Chhedi Singh in Salman Khan’s film ‘Dabangg’ released in 2010. The film proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. Recently, Sonu Sood revealed that he was offered the role of Chhedi Singh’s brother in ‘Dabangg 2’, but he rejected it. However, he has also revealed the special reason behind this.
In an interview given to Humans of Bombay, Sonu Sood said, ‘Salman and Arbaaz are like my family. They called me to play the role of Chhedi Singh’s brother, but I refused. Somehow that role was not exciting me. There are many Salman and Arbaaz and they asked me to do the role, but I told them that I am not getting any excitement about this role, so how will I be able to do it. He said no problem, no problem.
Prakash Raj’s entry in ‘Dabangg 2’
Sonu Sood further told that Salman Khan had invited him to the premiere of ‘Dabangg 2’ and he happily attended. It is known that in the climax of the film ‘Dabangg’ directed by Abhinav Kashyap, Chhedi Singh’s brother was mentioned, who was going to take revenge of his brother’s death from Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan). However, Prakash Raj was entered in the role of the new villain in ‘Dabangg 2’. Nikitin Dheer and Deepak Dobriyal were also seen in negative roles in the film. ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Dabangg 2’ have been blockbusters, but ‘Dabangg 3’ could not do wonders at the box office.
‘Fateh’ film is ready for release
Talking about work front, Sonu will soon be seen in the action film ‘Fateh’. He himself has directed it. Just a few days ago, the explosive trailer of the film was released, in which Sonu Sood was seen doing dangerous action. Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film. ‘Fateh’ is a full action film, which will hit the theaters on January 10, 2025.
