New Delhi: The daughter of the actress we are talking about is a big Bollywood star and her son-in-law is a superstar. She entered Bollywood as a child actress, which was produced by her mother Shobhana Samarth. The name of the film is ‘Hamari Beti’. In this, Tanuja played the childhood role of her elder sister Nutan. Tanuja had to take many big decisions at a young age. This bubbly actress started her film journey from black and white films to the coloured screen. The songs ‘Raat Akeli Hai, Bujh Gaye Diye’ and ‘Yeh Dil Na Hota Bechara’ were liked by the people for their lyrics as much as for Tanuja’s style. Tanuja, who always smiles, had to face two slaps during the shooting of her first film Chhabili. Tanuja had to cry in a scene of this film, but she was not able to cry. She kept laughing again and again. Kedar Sharma, who was the director of the film, according to the IANS report, told her that there was a crying scene, then she clearly said that today I am not in the mood to cry. The director sahab got angry and slapped Tanuja hard. When Tanuja went home and told her mother about this, her mother Shobhana also slapped Tanuja again. Then she brought Tanuja back to the film set and told Kedar Sharma that now she is crying, start shooting. Then what, the crying Tanuja gave a perfect shot for this scene.
‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ made my luck shine
Tanuja Samarth and Shomu Mukherjee got married just like a film story, that is, everything from their love to their marriage was filmy. They had two daughters, named Kajol and Tanisha.
