New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar recently spoke about his childhood days in a podcast. He answered some questions during the rapid round in the podcast. When he was asked about the words power and peace, he named megastar Amitabh Bachchan for power and late spiritual guru Dada Vaswani for peace.
Karan Johar said that I think Amitabh Bachchan has that power. When he enters a room, most people stand up and they don’t know why they are standing. Actually this is the true power. Taking the name of Dada Vaswani for peace, Karan said that he is no longer among us. I felt peace after meeting him and I interviewed him. Believe me, I have never been so impressed by people from the spiritual world, but I was very impressed by his presence and I felt peace.
It took Karan Johar years to understand himself
Karan Johar further said that he is proud of his journey as a person and he would never try to live it any differently. I was never like other boys, their interests, their style, their games – it just wasn’t me. It took me years to understand that I don’t need to apologize to anyone for being different. I have accepted who I am and that has become my strength.
Karan Johar never regrets his work
According to IANS report, the filmmaker finally said, ‘Till date I have never regretted the way I have lived my life or the work I have done. Whatever I do is for myself, without any regrets. I just want to live my truth. Let us tell you that Karan Johar has directed Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
