New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan was attacked with knives 6 times, two of which were extremely fatal. After the treatment, the doctors said that if the knife inserted into the spinal cord had been 2 mm deeper, the situation would have been very serious. Kareena Kapoor told in the statement that the attacker did not touch the jewelery and he was very aggressive while attacking Saif Ali Khan. The police managed to catch the main suspect today, January 19.
During police interrogation, the accused identified himself as Vijay Das, but continuous investigation and interrogation revealed that his real name is Shariful Islam Shahzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Faqir. According to ETimes report, DCP Dixit Gedam said after the arrest of the accused, ‘The accused has been identified as Shariful Islam Shahzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Faqir, aged 30 years. He has been arrested from Hiranandani Estate located on Ghodbunder Road in Thane district.
The accused was living in Mumbai after changing his name.
The DCP further revealed that the accused was using different names as he was from Bangladesh who had entered India illegally. He was living in Mumbai for the last few months. He also lived in the areas adjacent to Mumbai for some time. He is not married. He was working in a housekeeping agency, although he was unemployed for the last few months.

The police have collected some evidence, from which they came to know that the accused belongs to Bangladesh. The DCP further claimed that Mohammad Rohilla did not have any valid Indian document. At present he had named himself Vijay Das. He came to Mumbai 5-6 months ago. He came to Mumbai for a few days, then started living in its surrounding areas. The police also said in their statement that the accused had entered the house with the intention of stealing, but did not know that it was Saif Ali Khan’s house. Saif Ali Khan’s health is better than before. They can be discharged from the hospital in a day.
