According to a report by Rediff, Abhishek Bachchan had gone to Bhopal to meet his ailing grandmother and Jaya Bachchan’s mother Indira Bhaduri. A member of the Bachchan family told that Abhishek was adamant on staying with his grandmother. Earlier there were reports that Indira had died. However, sources close to the Bachchan family had dismissed these rumors and said that he was alive and healthy.
According to the report, a person associated with the Bachchan family said that Abhishek Bachchan wanted to spend time with his grandmother only. His parents i.e. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan had to fulfill other commitments. Talking about his upcoming film ‘I Want to Talk’, he said, “My director Shoojit and I have redefined the feel-good style. Shoojit had previously worked with my father in Piku, which was one of his best films. Now it is my turn.”
