New Delhi. The troubles of Mallika Sherawat and TV actress Pooja Banerjee seem to be increasing. ED has tightened its grip on both the actresses. Recently Mallika Sherawat and Pooja Banerjee recorded their statement to ED in the money laundering case. Both the actresses are connected to the betting website MagicWin. MagicWin is the website of a person based in Pakistan who has been accused of illegally telecasting the Men’s T20 World Cup.
The investigating agency recently conducted raids in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune as part of the investigation into the MagicWin portal case. Sources said that the actresses were interrogated by the ED in the money laundering case related to the betting website and both were asked to reply through mail or representative. According to sources, Mallika Sherawat and Pooja Banerjee had advertised this betting website, but both are not accused in this case yet.

ED will summon many celebrities
ED may soon send summons to many more celebrities for questioning in this case. According to ED, the ‘launch party’ of MagicWin, which was attended by many Bollywood stars, is under investigation. These stars also did video and photo shoots and also promoted the website extensively on social media. Hoardings of MagicWin were also put up in Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Let us tell you, this case of money laundering is based on the FIR registered by the Cyber Crime Unit of Ahmedabad Police. ED said that MagicWin, which was launched as a gaming portal, is actually a betting site. It has been created by citizens of Pakistan and is being operated by Indians in Dubai.
