New Delhi. Manoj Bajpayee is one of the talented stars of Bollywood. He has shared the screen with many stars in his career. Recently he spoke openly on the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. Both the stars had worked together in ‘Sonchiriya’. Manoj Bajpayee told that he often discussed the film industry and its politics with Sushant Singh Rajput. He advised Sushant that it is very important to have a thick skin to survive in the industry.
Manoj Bajpayee said in an interview with Mid Day, ‘As far as the industry is concerned, we often talked about the industry and its politics. I always told them to keep their skin thick, otherwise this (industry) will kill you. I have a thick skin because I faced a lot of rejections. It was a part of my life, but many of my friends were not cool. He couldn’t handle rejection like I could.
Sushant Singh Rajput was moody
He said, ‘He (Sushant Singh Rajput) was a moody type of person and I am also like that. I, Ashutosh Rana, Ranveer Shorey and Sushant were on the sets of Sonchiriya. We all had our own mood swings. Just before the Covid pandemic, when I went out for shooting, he called me and said, Manoj Bhai, I love the mutton made by you, next time you make it, please call me.
used to talk about quantum physics
Manoj Bajpayee said, ‘He had good knowledge of quantum physics. He used to talk to me about spirituality and he used to explain it by linking it to quantum physics. His mind was very sharp. I don’t want to jump to any conclusions, because I really don’t know what happened to them? Even the CBI has not reached any conclusion yet.
Sushant’s demise shocked us
He talked about the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput and how that incident affected him. He said, ‘I would like to tell you that the news of his death shocked me so much that I remained sad for three months, as if I had known him very personally and closely. It is known that Sushant Singh Rajput had allegedly committed suicide in June 2020.
