In such a situation, Salman Khan is being asked by the Bishnoi community to go to a temple and apologize. This temple is in Nokha tehsil of Bikaner district of Rajasthan, which is known as Muqam Dham. The distance of this temple from Mumbai, the home of actor Salman Khan, is 1000 km. To end the 26 year old dispute, Salman Khan will have to come to the temple where Guru Jambheshwar Maharaj’s Samadhi was located and apologize.
Let us tell you that this temple is the biggest center of faith for the Bishnoi community. Every year a large number of people from all over the country come here. A fair is held here twice a year where 10 to 12 lakh people come. People come here from Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan and pay obeisance at Muktidham.
No comment on Lawrence, want justice in Salman case
Hanumanram Bishnoi, office secretary of All India Bishnoi Mahasabha, said that the case of Lawrence Bishnoi is going on in the court. No comment can be made in this regard. Salman Khan is a criminal. He hunted black deer. The case is going on in the court.
They say that we have full faith in the judiciary. Justice will definitely be given. Unless the culprit comes to his own mind to repent, it is of no use. He must have in his own mind that I have committed a crime. Legal action is underway and the culprit will definitely be punished. We have full faith in God and the judiciary that justice will definitely be done.
Guru Jambheshwar was given Samadhi here
Hanuman Bishnoi further says, “It is believed that Guru Jambheshwar ji was given Samadhi on the day of Ekadashi at a place called Muqam in Bikaner. This place is today known as Muktidham. It is also said that before taking Samadhi, Guru Maharaj had described Khejri and Jaal trees as the symbols of his Samadhi. Today his mausoleum remains at the same place.”
According to historians, when excavation was done 24 feet below to give Samadhi to Guru Maharaj, a trident was found there. That trident is still installed at Muktidham. This temple was built by Randhir ji Bawal, one of the favorite disciples of Guru Jambheshwar. After his demise, this temple was completed with the help of saints of Bishnoi community.
Guru Jambheshwar had donated his property
According to historians of Bishnoi community, Guru Jambheshwar ji was born in Pipasar village of Nagaur district on the day of Krishna Janmashtami in 1451 AD, Vikram Samvat 1508. Jambheshwar’s father’s name was Lohat Panwar and mother’s name was Hansadevi. His father was Panwar Gotriya Rajput. The name of Jambheshwar ji’s guru was Gorakhnath. Jambheshwar ji’s mother is Hansadevi. After the death of his parents, Jambheshwar ji donated his entire property in public interest.
After that Guru Jambheshwar started living at Samrathal Dhore. In 1485 he founded the Bishnoi sect. The sect was established at Samrathal Dhore on Kartik Vadi Ashtami. Vikrami Samvat 1593 year 1536 Mingsar Vadi Navami Guru Jambheshwar attained Nirvana in Lalasar on the day of Chilat Navami. His mausoleum is still situated in Muqam village.
Two big fairs are held every year
Two big fairs are held every year in Muqam temple. The first on Phalgun Amavasya and the second on Asoj Amavasya. It is said that the fair of Phalgun Amavasya is very old. But the Asoj Amavasya fair was started by Saint Vilhoji in 1591 AD. This fair is jointly organized by All India Bishnoi Mahasabha and All India Guru Jambheshwar Sevak Dal. Every year on Asoj Amavasya, people from Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan come here and pay obeisance at Muktidham.
