  • Blood sugar level can also increase due to change in diet in winter.
  • Thirst is less in cold weather. Because of this people drink less water. In such a situation, blood sugar level may increase due to dehydration.

answer- Glycemic index is a measure by which we know how fast a food item increases our blood sugar level. After we eat anything, the blood sugar level in the body increases.
