Xiaomi is preparing to launch its new tablets Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro in the global market after launching them in China on October 29. Recently, both tablets were seen on United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification, suggesting a global launch soon. Xiaomi Pad 7, Pad 7 Pro spotted by FCC

According to the FCC listing, both the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are expected to have advanced wireless network capabilities. The Pad 7 will support Wi-Fi 6e (802.11ax), while the Pad 7 Pro will be equipped with the more advanced Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be). Apart from this, both the tablets will work on Xiaomi’s custom HyperOS 2.0 which offers a customizable user interface. The certification has also revealed the storage configuration of both tablets. Xiaomi Pad 7 will come in three variants 8GB RAM/128GB, 8GB RAM/256GB and 12GB RAM/512GB storage. The Pad 7 Pro will come in more options, with 8GB or 12GB of RAM along with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage.

Xiaomi Pad 7, Pad 7 Pro Specifications

Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro have an 11.2-inch IPS LCD display, which has a resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels, 144 Hz refresh rate, HDR 10 and Dolby Vision support. Talking about dimensions, the length of the tablet is 251.2 mm, width is 173.4 mm, thickness is 6.2 mm and weight is 500 grams. Pad 7 has Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor. The Pad 7 Pro includes a more powerful Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 processor, which provides better performance for demanding tasks like gaming and multitasking.

Talking about camera setup, Pad 7 has a 13-megapixel primary camera in the rear and an 8-megapixel selfie camera in the front. Whereas Pad 7 Pro has a 50 megapixel primary camera and 2 megapixel depth camera. There is a 32 megapixel selfie camera in the front. Both tablets have an 8,850mAh battery, in which the fast charging speed of Pad 7 is 45W and the charging speed of Pad 7 Pro is 67W.
