Xiaomi has launched the Smart Rice Cooker in the UK and some other European countries. It has been launched in countries like France, Spain and Italy. 49.99 euros (around Rs 4,500), while in the UK £34.99 (about Rs 5,300).
Talking about the features, Xiaomi Smart Rice Cooker comes with a capacity of 3 liters. Its biggest feature is the connectivity support with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, which allows users to control the cooker remotely. This feature allows setting or adjusting timers, modes and settings etc. directly from the smartphone.
The company claims that this product is designed with a high-power heating element that cooks rice evenly and also includes a temperature sensor to prevent burning. Another special feature is that rice can be kept warm for up to 12 hours and the user can set the cooking time up to 24 hours in advance. The cooker comes equipped with a manual button and a display.
The Xiaomi Smart Multifunctional Rice Cooker is compact, measuring 325 × 244 × 202 mm. It has an aluminum alloy inner pot with a non-stick coating.
Apart from this, let us tell you that Xiaomi has also recently launched an electric shaver in China, which comes with waterproof rating. It has a 0.3 mm wide tooth pitch design. Its size is 16.5 x 56.6 x 95 mm and weight is 107 grams. For charging, the new shaver has a USB Type-C port, which can also be charged with the charger of mobile or other Type-C devices. The company says that the motor used in the shaver can run up to 6,000 rpm. Its battery backup is said to be 60 minutes.
