Our The brain is one of the parts of the body that never sleeps. Even when we all sleep, the brain has to do many things. Just like other parts of the body need rest and exercise to function better. Similarly, our brain also needs rest and exercise.
Forget about taking care of the brain, it is the organ whose needs we ignore the most. The biggest reason for this is that the brain keeps trying to work for us even after getting tired. Learning a new language- Nowadays, it is easier than ever to learn a new language. With the help of smartphone and internet, you can easily learn any language. According to a research published in the National Library of Medicine, people having knowledge of two languages are less likely to suffer from dementia (amnesia). The brain of such people works better even with increasing age.
Regular reading and making notes- A research in the Journal of Student Research found that making notes through typing while watching a video makes the brain more active and makes it easier to remember things. In such a situation, you can also make notes while reading.
Mindful breathing meditation- Mindfulness and meditation have many benefits for the brain. Meditation reduces mental stress. According to a research published on Science Direct, mindful breathing can improve mental ability and memory.
music- Music activates the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus of the brain. The prefrontal cortex helps the brain make decisions and plan. The hippocampus remembers music and this improves our memory.
